Join us to read, A Foodie's Guide to Capitalism: Understanding the Political Economy of What We Eat by Eric Holt-Giménez, which discusses topics and themes, such as:
The mechanics of capitalism,
Neoliberalism and free trade,
The global financial system’s role in the food systems and food sovereignty of nations, and
The impact of capitalism on the environment and oppressed and marginalized peoples
This study group will meet virtually via Zoom once a month, with occasional opportunities to watch relevant videos or read relevant articles together and discuss via Zoom.
