Join us for a presentation and discussion marking the 80th anniversary of one of the most pivotal events in Vietnamese history: the August Revolution of 1945, when decades of organizing, resistance, and ideological searching culminated in the overthrow of dual colonial occupation.

We’ll explore the path to revolution—from the impacts of French colonialism to the resistance movements, international networks, and tools that paved Vietnam’s road to independence. We are also excited to launch our brand new T-shirts, exclusive for in-person attendees of this event!

This event is for organizers, activists, and anyone seeking to learn from revolutionary struggle to inform our fights today. Let’s study the past to deepen our connection to history and sharpen our work in the present.

Forced Hunger Is a Weapon of Imperial Warfare. End the Starvation. End the Occupation.

Sông2Sea unequivocally condemns the deliberate starvation of Palestinians in Gaza, a starvation that is imposed by Israel and funded by the United States.

Gaza is not simply facing a humanitarian crisis, as politicians and media have framed it. A humanitarian crisis refers to natural disasters like earthquakes or floods; the suffering of Gaza is man-made.
